Using the high resolution Sony CCD HQ5 Bullet cameras but with a tweaked lens filter to enhance colour and general sharpness all round.

The New MiniDVR 3 is the 3rd generation of bullet camera from the range and uses the latest Zorro 9 chipset for encoding video in real time. This gives a higher bitrate of up to 13mb/s resulting in better video quality than ever before.

The Zorro 9 menu is now much smoother and easier to navigate around. In short, this is the highest quality bullet camera on the market today.

The bullet cameras that are supplied with these systems are based on the HQ2 bullet cameras . It is 19mm in dia and 55mm long. The HQ5 550tvl bullet camera has a high speed reaction time to changing light conditions. The camera comes fitted with a wide angled 3.6mm lens which can be changed to give different angles of view if required. It will also outperform any other camera system, including the HD cameras in low light conditions by a very long way.

These helmet cameras are also fitted with a 1/4" thread on the rear so it can be used with any camera mount available. An external microphone is integrated in to the cable of the camera.

Also supplied with the MiniDVR 3 is a cigarette lighter adapter that can be used to either charge the batteries in the recorder or to power it permanently. The system can be put in "CAR MODE" which detects when you have powered up the recorder from your vehicle. At this point it will turn on and start recording automatically.

As with the previous model you still get the "LANC" remote controller which plugs in to the recorder part. You can turn the unit on/off and start/stop recording with the remote either on your wrist or hanging from a jacket pocket. This means you can keep the recorder part tucked safely out of the way.

We supply 2 x 1400mAh rechargeable batteries with each system which will give you at least 2 hours record time each. You get an external battery charger that allows you to charge both batteries at the same time.
