V-Gain Microphone

This new V.Gain microphone, designed by us here, has a simple but very effective gain controller built-in to the PCB (see pics). You can turn the gain down from 100% to 0% and be able to dial in a setting and get great audio in your video no matter how loud your vehicle is.

We have designed this mic primarily for use in cars and on bikes but it works just as well for all other sports and gives you the exact adjustment to suit filming in your environment.

This mic is powered from a 12v supply and has a power pass-thru. It is a mono mic but you can use two together for stereo.

All of our camera kits from 2-5-2008 will come with this mic included as standard.

Stereo Microphone Splitter

If you have just one mono microphone and want to record on to both channels then this little converter will do this. Plug one microphone in to it and it will give you two mono outputs.

Stereo Clip Microphone

This is a high quality microphone for digital recorders that have a microphone input.
At the moment, the only recorders that support this microphone are the Chasecam PDR100 and the VIO POV1

Using this mic will give much better audio quality over using the built-in mics on these systems.

If your recorder does not have a "mic" input then it will have a "line level" audio input and you should use the V-Gain mic at the top of this page.
