HQR2 Bullet camera kit.
If you're looking for the highest quality video from your system then this is the product to look at.
This unit will completely blow anything else in this price range right out of the water for both image quality and features. It's curently the only system available that can achieve full DVD quality video and also has a built-in colour pre-view screen.
The HQR-2 camera kit records in either mpeg2 or mpeg4 mode making it really flexible for all users. The built-in Li-Poly battery will power itself plus the Sony HQ2 bullet camera for around 5 hours. It can record at 8mb/s 720 x 576. The on-screen menu makes it really easy to use and setup. It has a built-in microphone with variable gain control. This makes it a really tidy solution with only one cable running from the recorder to the camera. A Mic and a line level audio input allows connection to intercom systems.
The bullet cameras supplied in this package are the Sony HQ1 or HQ2 models which not only give exceptional colour reproduction and a quick response to changing light conditions but also is comparable to CCTV cameras worth over £600.00 in it's low light performance.
The HQ2 camera is one of the smallest on the market making it really comfortable to wear or easy to mount in a car or on a bike. It's waterproof down to 3m of water and extension cable runs up to 50m are available. The recorder part is not waterproof and should not be allowed to get wet.

Supplied with 1m of cable between camera and recorder.
This system records on to a compact flash card. At full quality it needs 4.5gb per hour of video. A 32gb CF card is the largest available at this time holding around 8 hours at full quality.
It's important to note that this system supports recording only and not play back. Video playback needs to be done on a computer. The built-in colour screen will show you a preview of your camera and will continue to display what is being recorded.

Extension Cables for HQ cameras
These are our new extension cables available for the HQ bullet cameras on this site only.
You can connect any combination of these together for bespoke lengths of up to 50m in total.
The connectors on these cables are waterproof down to 3m.
External Stereo Microphone
The HQR-1 has a built-in microphone but you can get much better results when using this stereo mic.
This is a high quality clip mic which plugs directly in to the HQR1. No need for an external battery pack or pre-amp.
The mic is supplied with a 1 metre cable which can easily be extended.
A strong mic clip is also included for simple attachment.
