HQR1 Mpeg2/4 HQ Bullet camera kit
This is the package containing the excellent HQR1 digital video recorder along with a Sony HQ bullet camera kit. It's built-in li-poly battery will power both the recorder and the bullet camera for over 3 hours (hq1) and over 4.5 hours (hq2). The HQ2 bullet camera is not only smaller in size but also draws 65% less power making the batteries last longer on the recorder.

You get everything you require to start filming out of the box. All you need to do is add a compact flash memory card and you're good to go.
Using this recorder with either of our sony HQ bullet cameras will give you awesome video quality. It's the only pocket sized D1 solution on the market to achieve this. Our cameras are waterproof down to 3m but this recorder is not and so it will have to be protected suitably against the elements.
You can set the HQR1 to record on power on which makes it ultra easy to use and at the same time has loads of functions such as time/date stamp and video loop mode. The ability to be able to record in either mpeg2 or mpeg4 which will both play fine over a DLNA enabled network. Streaming this video froma NAS box directly to a Samsung LCD tv looks great!
Probably one of the best bits about this recorder is it's ability to work with a LANC remote. A LANC remote is a single button on a cable with an LED which allows really easy control for start/stop recording as well as being able to power the whole system on or off.

Extension Cables for HQ cameras

You can connect any combination of these together for bespoke lengths of up to 50m in total.
The connectors on these cables are waterproof down to 3m.

External Stereo Microphone
The HQR-1 has a built-in microphone but you can get much better results when using this stereo mic.
This is a high quality clip mic which plugs directly in to the HQR1. No need for an external battery pack or pre-amp.
The mic is supplied with a 1 metre cable which can easily be extended.
A strong mic clip is also included for simple attachment.

This is a small and inexpensive screen with connecting cables for the HQR-1. Use this to position your camera and for watching back the videos you have recorded directly from the HQR-1.

5" Field and Vehicle Monitor
This small 5" TFT Monitor has one of the brightest screens we have ever seen. A really nice quality piece of hardware that can accept any composite video input. Ideal for use with digital video recorders that don't have built-in screens.
Input connections are BNC and we will also supply BNC to RCA-Phono adapters.
Can easily be dash mounted with it's adjustable stand. Powered by 12v.
Comes with a protective carry case that doubles as a screen shroud for perfect viewing on bright, sunny days. The back of this bag has a velcro belt strap that can be used to secure the monitor to a roll bar or cage.
